Privacy Policy

Digital Vibes (David Mohl) operates Outnite and is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. Contact [email protected] with questions about privacy or your personal information.

Information we collect

  • Listing information you submit, including event titles, venues, dates, times, descriptions, and links. We also import publicly available event information from event websites.
  • Payment information, including amounts, currencies, payment status, transaction references, and confirmation data received from Stripe. Stripe's confirmation data may include your email address and billing information. Stripe collects and processes card details on its checkout page.
  • Messages and contact details you provide when requesting support, corrections, or refunds.
  • Technical and usage information, such as IP addresses, browser and device information, pages visited, interactions, request timestamps, and error or performance diagnostics, depending on the services enabled.

Listing details are public once published. Unpaid submissions and payment attempts may also be stored to process checkout and resolve problems. Avoid putting private contact information or other sensitive information in a public listing.

How we use information

We use information to publish and rank listings, process payments and refunds, manage listing requests, provide support, prevent fraud and abuse, investigate errors, measure usage, and maintain the service. We also keep records needed for accounting, disputes, and legal obligations.

Email is used for listing management, service messages, and receipts. We do not send marketing emails. We do not use session replay.

Service providers

We use, or plan to use as features become available, the following providers to operate Outnite. They process information relevant to the services they provide:

  • Stripe for checkout, payment processing, fraud prevention, and refunds.
  • Fly.io for application hosting and storage.
  • Cloudflare for delivering listing, service, and receipt emails.
  • PostHog for page-view and interaction analytics.
  • Sentry for error reporting and diagnostics.
  • New Relic for performance monitoring, metrics, and operational logs.

These providers may process information in countries outside your country of residence, including countries with different data protection laws. Applicable safeguards and legal requirements depend on the provider, processing location, and information involved. We may also disclose information where required by law or necessary to handle legal claims or protect the service and its users.

Cookies and browser storage

Outnite uses a session cookie for site functionality and security, and browser session storage to recognize checkout attempts and prevent duplicate submissions. Analytics, when enabled, may use cookies or similar identifiers to understand visits and interactions.

You can manage cookies and site storage in your browser. Blocking essential storage may affect site functionality. Clearing browser storage does not delete records already held by Outnite or its providers.

Retention

Retention depends on the information and its purpose. Listing records may remain available as historical event information. Payment and related records are kept as needed for accounting, fraud prevention, disputes, and legal obligations. Support messages and diagnostic data are kept as needed to address requests and operate the service. Contact us to ask about retention of your information or request deletion. Some records may need to be retained for legal reasons.

Your requests

You can contact [email protected] to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or to raise an objection or concern about its use. Depending on applicable law, you may have additional rights, including restriction of processing, portability, or a complaint to a data protection authority. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

Public listings can be copied or indexed by third parties. Removing information from Outnite does not automatically remove copies held by others. Event and ticket websites linked from Outnite handle information under their own privacy policies.

Policy updates

We will update this page when our handling of information changes and revise the date above. We will provide additional notice where required by law. Operator details are available in our Commercial Disclosure. Purchasing and listing rules are detailed in our Terms of Service.
